How do I add mods or pt files

I did a search but I didn't find it so how do I add mods or pt files.
I'M amazed at what all y'all do with RT3 and would like to try it too.
So please point me the way..

When you say "add mods", do you mean installing ones that other people have made, or do you mean making your own?

Installing them is usually easy. Making them is obviously a bit trickier, but it's not rocket science.
If you can give a bit more detail on exactly what you want to do, someone here will know how to do it.

Making these things are way over my pay grade.

Like I was looking at the PT_Russia one russia_1.gmp only folder I could see to place this is tutorial..
It didn't have a read me file. I've found some files that look like a music file, but I can't find anything
that matches them going thru the folders in the game..

gmp files are maps and should go in the Maps folder.

Unless I'm forgetting something, it sounds like you're talking about mp2 files, which are maps for RT2.

I still had problems trying to delete the saved folders this helped Windows 10.

When you go into file for local(C) go to view top middle over to the right is three boxes one says hidden file check it.
You can now actually search for .gms and it should bring them up.
