Plethora of links Unread post

Um....both WP&P and I are working a passenger carriage sets and since we can both use this information, anyone who may want to take a crack at doing some skins would benefit greatly for the content on this site.

Re: Plethora of links Unread post

Just bumping this with a handy link. The entire text of the 1922 Locomotive cyclopedia of American practice has now been placed in the public domain.

This is perfectly legal and any page can be viewed, or downloaded in PDF format, from here: http://catalog.hathitrust.org/Record/012336542 !*th_up*!

Locomotive diagrams seem to start on page 100.

Found another handy link. Free e-book from Google:

The Steam Engine: A Treatise on Engines and Boilers, Half-vol. IV.
By Daniel Kinnear Clark

This is a ripper. It's a very old, 19th century book that has been digitally scanned. Some pages about general steam stuff are missing, but on page 128 of the PDF it starts going on about trains. !*th_up*!

It has, believe it or not, actual engineering drawings and verified performance data for the famous Stirling 4-2-2, and a range of other locomotives of the period.

More handy links. This page is full of them: Download page of Hans-Martin Hebsaker !*th_up*!

In particular, this link is very handy for DRG (German) steam locos: Aufbau und Technik der Dampflokomotive

You're supposed to provide links to information about pinatas. :-P

I shop at El Guapo's Pinata Emporium. The sales staff is extremely helpful when deciding from among their plethora of pinata's, and explaining everything there is to know about pinata's. !*th_up*!

P.S: I bet the Google search you linked did not give as many local options for buying pinata's as mine did:

Somehow I doubt there is a "Mundo Pinata" (Pinata World for English speakers) in Australia for some reason....
