Custom Logos

Ive been playing RRT 3 off and on since probably 2008 but this is my first time ive ever gotten into modding it. Im trying to make custom company logos but i dont even know where to start. Ive noticed you need .PK4 files but I have no idea how to get that to work or where to begin. Ive tried looking up answers butsome of the links are dead and cant really get anywhere. Anyone can help?

PK4's are just glorified zips. There a tool for extracting and compressing them, but it relies on having Java running on your computer.

The logos need to be in DXT3 format, so you'll need an image editor that can save in that format. Phtoshop can do it (with an nVidia plug-in) and GIMP can also do it. Not sure on the others (I expect Inkscape could, but haven't tried it).

I got the DXT3 and the gizmo files, but i still dont know how to get anything into the .pk4 file.
